I am going to create an informational flyer to pass out to people I meet about the cruetly of factory farming and advice to go vegan or vegetarian.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  I have been a little lazy with advocating for our animals because of ending the school year and doing summer school. Soon I will be out of school and will have time.  I need to stay focused and speak up for the animals since they can not do it for themselves.  Will post the flyer that I will use to witness to people about what is happening.  So many people really have no idea of what is happening to the animals in factory farms.  It is horrible for them and the meat coming from them is so unhealthy to consume.  We have to do what we can even if they don't respond favorably.  It is just like witnessing about Jesus and God, some will listen, some will slam the door in your face or worse.  Just give the message that is all you can do.  Educate! Educate! Educate!

Pink Slime

Oh, have you heard about the lovely filler they have been putting in the meat since the 90's? Check it out because it is all over the Internet.  McCruelty said they are not using it anymore, but they only stopped because they were exposed!!  How sad that these companies won't do the right things until forced to do so.

There is just no end to horrors that is happening in the food/meat industry.  We have to just keep exposing and stop buying.

Factory Farm Facts

I found this website that has some startling facts about factory farms state by state.  Check this site out.
http://www.factoryfarmmap.org/facts/

Also, at our school we have been attending Healthy Lifestyles and learning how to eat healthy.  Here is a website to get grass fed beef and valuable information. http://www.steakburger.com/index.php.

I am looking to find chicken and pigs that are not raised in factory farms.  If anyone knows such a place, please let me now.

No I am not advertising for PETA and do not work there, but they just have so much good stuff that I can't stop sharing.

Iams Cruelty

Wow!!  I just found out what Iams does to animals.  I'm certainly glad I have never bought their dog food.  My dogs love Purina One and the first ingredient is not corn. This is one of PETA's campaigns.  See, you just find out so much from PETA.  I would love to work there!!  They also have openings listed on the website at Peta.org.  See for yourself:  http://www.iamscruelty.com/
